5-foot-9, 165-pound athletic build. Solid at the plate, Gualtieri had an exit velocity of 82 mph. (65.24 mph bat speed average). (19.41 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall open stance with a slow rhythmic load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed was efficient, showed a short upward swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable recorded an outfield position velocity of 77 mph; has a natural exchange, smooth feet, and sure consistent hands. Fields the ball to the side, movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a long arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.98.

Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Stocky frame. Lean build with present athleticism and potential for added strength.
Defense: Controlled footwork as he closes space in the OF with momentum moving forward.

Hit: RHH. Weight back with knees bent as he gets in the legs well. Hands loose in front of the shoulder creates a subtle slide step to create rhythm forward. Fires the hips well and shows a level bat path with hard liners to the pull side.
