Franklin pitched like a blitz, recording two innings in a flash. Slender-bodied and loose-armed, the right-hander sat 91-92 throughout his two innings with solid control and spin into the 2500s on his heater. His breaking ball also spun tight (2700 rpm) at 77-79 mph and he showed very good feel for a near average present changeup at 83-84. The Miami recruit is also a plus athlete who moves easily to field his position.

Delivery: Compact sidesaddle windup. Drop and drive delivery.
Arm Action: RH. Long extension in the backswing into a 3/4 release point.
FB: T89, 85-88 mph. Generates heavy riding action with arm side run. Overpowers hitters. T2465, 2306 average rpm.
SL: 72-74 mph. Sharp with heavy sweeping action. Out pitch potential. T2571, 2434 average rpm.
