It was a good look at the all-around profile for the Mercer commit Wednesday afternoon. Present athleticism and strength throughout the physical 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame with tools to project on both sides of the ball. Went 1-for-2 at the plate with a clutch 2 RBI single early along with a pair of walks as well. Some whip in the barrel present in a direct path with the ability to get the barrel on-plane. Ground-force strength and shifts weight well through impact with very minimal wasted effort from a potent RH cut. Great balance and feel for the zone with excellent pitch recognition to match as he sets the tone out of the 2-hole. Advanced defender in CF with sneaky athleticism and he tracked down multiple balls in the gaps with ease, backed by impressive instincts and range. Above-average foot speed with tremendous routes to the ball which allow him to track extremely well and be a field general in centerfield. Koehly offers a potent profile and has a chance to make a real impact from day 1 at Mercer.
