CLASS OF 2026

The Lagrange commit has just recently made a return from an early season injury and has provided an instant impact out of the 2-hole. Came through in multiple clutch spots with 4 RBI including a pair of doubles and a single. Boasts tons of athleticism with tools throughout the lean 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame. The RHH shows a quick trigger with easy rhythm in a toe-tap load and excellent ability to adjust in-zone while using the whole field well. Bat speed and barrel accuracy stand out with ability to create leverage throughout the zone. Mature approach consistently shows up with quality pitch recognition to match. Consistently a threat on the bases with present above-average foot speed and excellent instincts to match. Impact glove in the corner outfield spot with tremendous ability to track backed by above-average speed and fantastic routes to the ball. It’s a high-floor profile for Sweet who will look to stay hot next round and has a chance to make a real day 1 impact at Lagrange in a few months.

Uncommitted. 6-foot-0, 155-pounds. Always an exciting player to watch as the tools standout. Defensively plays a strong role at any spot in the outfield with strong range that can track fly balls and make plays. (+) Speed with electrifying start-up that can motor through infield hits. A threat to score from first base with aggressiveness and awareness. Solid lead-off hitter with aggressive approaches and a disciplined eye, makes hard contact with a simple inside-to-out approach and strong wrists that pair with quick hands to display a good feel for the barrel.

Uncommitted. Quick first impressions Saturday morning in the lead-off spot. Finished the game with two hits, a triple and a single; hard contact from both as they were peppered into the opposite field for line-drives. Very smooth movements in the box, slide-step load, with some hand movement to initiate his swing. Maintains good momentum in his lower-half, with a quick trigger. Impressive speed(+) on the base paths, had two stolen bases and then proceeded to tag and score off a very shallow pop-fly in center-field. Aggressive on the base paths and at the plate.
