It was a very calm mindset in the box today for the underclassman Akopov as he shows up multiple times in these late round playoffs. His first AB, he showed his comfort and trust in the barrel as he dropped it right on an upper 80s FB and lined a RBI 2B into the gap. His natural bat to ball ability was on display as every swing produced quality contact and form rarely broke down during ABs. His name was called once the team was down and he came through with a loud HR to dead center as he tied it at 4-4. He came up again and laced one off the short wall for a 1B, again finding the barrel for high EV. Akopov has the build and current tools to project as a power and contact mixed outfielder that has provided well for the squad this season.

Uncommitted. The physical athlete at 6-foot, 180-pounds, continues to impress in every aspect over Junior Future Games. The incoming freshman picked up yet another knock, changing plane with fluid hands through the zone. Showing an advanced feel for the barrel with all-fields leverage. On the mound showed an intriguing arsenal with the FB primarily sitting 82-84 MPH and topping at 85 MPH with sink and run. The Curveball was shown at 69 MPH. Will be a name to know going into his freshman year at Mount Paran.

Uncommitted. After a loud round of BP yesterday the physical athlete at 6-foot, 180-pounds, stung one into center-field at an exit velocity at 88 MPH, to bring home a run for Team Georgia in the late stages. The incoming freshman displayed a mature approach at the plate coupled with present bat-speed and a well-leveraged barrel through the zone.
