Cape Cod: At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, the senior-to-be looks the part and has game impacting tools with plus arm strength, run speed, defense, and raw power. He was also one of the better defensive outfielders in the Cape with a very good first step, strong bat off ball reactions and direct routes. However, consistent contact at the plate continued to plague him this summer after a spring at 'Bama that saw him strike out in over 21% of his plate appearances. In particular, breaking balls give him fits as he struggles to recognize spin. With a pull approach the right handed hitter finished the Cape season with a .240/.313/.413 slash and a 29% strikeout rate.
