5-foot-10, 155-pound right-handed hitting second and third baseman, strong build. Offensively, narrow, open setup, long stride, hands load back, good balanced throughout. Line drive hitter, short barrel path through the zone, uses the entire field, 77 exit velocity. Ran a 7.03 laser-timed 60. Defensively, short arm action, high ¾ slot, 76 across the infield. Fields position confidently, approaches with short, quick steps before breaking down in front, fields out front, clean on transfers.

Groover comes in at 5-foot-10 155-pounds and shows a good frame and actions. At the plate he has a balanced set-up with a proper load and level swing that stays in the zone a long time. As a young kid he needs to get stronger and has time to do so, but has the frame to add strength. He showed an 82 mph exit velocity at the event. Defensively he uses short choppy steps to work through the baseball and shows an accurate arm. He plays under control and low to the ground. He has an accurate arm and registered a 71 mph throwing arm across the infield. Groover profile is limited to 2B at this time, but with added strength has a chance to profile at third-base as well. Good baseball player with actions, just needs strength.
