Uncommitted. Carr got the start on the mound in game 1 of the state playoffs. He has a strong, athletic frame that is imposing on the mound. The actions are clean and efficient with an athletic arm slot. He filled up the zone with a fastball in the low to mid 80’s. It’s low effort, so seems to be more in the tank down the mound. He had the ability to throw 3 pitches for strikes with feel for spin. Game 2 he moved over the 3B and set the tone at the plate with a big double to get the scoring started for Mary Persons. Carr will be a 2 way prospect to follow into the summer and if he is not committed by the spring, into his senior year.
