Georgia’s 2027 class is quickly beginning to take shape with impressive freshmen showing out in seemingly every game we attend this spring, and Davis Morrison was no different on Thursday. Physical at 6-foot-1, 200-pounds with immense projection remaining at still just 14 years old. Morrison stays quiet in his setup with good ability to transfer weight throughout while creating good leverage in the zone. The first baseman has the power to drive both gaps without selling out, and came through with a hard-hit backside triple in the RCF gap. Morrison will be a great follow going forward, and could have a big ceiling in this freshman class.
