Uncommitted. The right-hander followed Bobrowski and was tasked to slam the door across the final two-innings as he did just that. Smith preserved the victory with 5 strikeouts across the final 2.0 IP as the Greyhounds won the series. Physical 6-foot-3, 208-pound frame and quality mover down the mound. Looseness to the arm stroke from a shorter action with ability to repeat the delivery well. Fastball sat 85-86 (T87 MPH) with heavy arm-side run and was consistently spotted on the outer half for strikes. Curvball induced plenty of whiffs as it tunneled well with depth at 72-75. Mixed in a changeup to LHH with arm-side fade at 77-79. Smith is a huge piece in the Greyhounds rotation with pitchability and boasts some projection remaining throughout the frame/profile.
