Oglethorpe Commit. In the first two games of the series, Collis’ name was present and impactful, but it felt like there was something ready to give during his ABs. G3 is when the bat could not be contained anymore as he went 3-4 with 3 hard hit barrels. In the first inning he got the head out well to a first pitch breaker and smoked it into LF to keep a big 1st frame going. After a popout in his 2nd AB, he showed more PS hit ability for a RBI 1B from his low, compact stance. He has great lower half strength that starts the swing as the hands come in right behind, staying long in the zone. To put the game out of reach, he rifled a backside 2B, again on the first offering, and came around to score to make it 9-2. There is no question about the hit ability in Collis’ bat, and with present bottom-half strength, the all-field pop should continue to show more consistently. Being in the lower 1/3 of this lineup, Collis is a threat to bring in the guys ahead of him and to hand it off back to the top of the order.

Body: 5-11, 185-pounds.
Delivery: Creates good pace down the mound. Strong backside.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top action. Stays behind the ball. 
FB: Works all parts of the plate well. Good metrics on the fastball.
CB: Good pitch down in the zone. High spin that plays well off the fastball.
CH: Good action. plays well down.

Positional Profile: SS/3B
Body: 5-11, 185-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Open setup, with high leg kick. Creates good seperation with consistent timing. Hands start near ear, and stay quiet through the load. Gets on plane well. Working all parts of the field. Creates easy leverage through the zone. Strong lower half.
Arm: RH. INF-80 mph. Strong 3/4 arm slot. Athleitc action. Accurate throws.
Defense: Quick feet, moves well side to side. Really soft hands, and works through the ball towards 1B.
