Uncommitted. 5-foot-10 155-pounds. Chiappetta has hit in all 3 games I have seen him this spring. Love the approach at the plate, and is a really tough out. He has a small leg kick and keeps the bat in the zone throughout the swing. He is an athletic 2nd baseman with really clean actions in the field. He could stick at 2B or transition into the outfield with his speed at the next level. He shortens the leg lift up with 2 strikes and makes consistent contact. Chiappetta is one of those players that figures out ways to get on base, and can help any team win.
