After a strong showing on Thursday of last week, Brannon followed it up with a huge performance at the plate to open the week. Going 2-for-4 with a HR, 2B, and 3 RBI. The LHH would get the barrel out and create easy carry to the pull-side by launching a no-doubt 2-run shot in the 1st inning. Later in the game, Brannon would nearly send another one out, this time smoking it off the center-field wall for a ringing RBI 2B. Showing great leverage through the zone and impact in the barrel to match. Brannon also displays an excellent feel for the barrel with present bat speed, while utilizing a strong lower half. The outfielder would also show off the impressive range in right-field making an absurd diving catch that was deep in the gap. Exhibiting obvious foot speed along with taking an extremely efficient route to the ball. There is plenty of projection remaining on both sides of the ball within the athletic 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame for the sophomore.
7/28/23
