The 2019 right-hander has an athletic build at 6-foot-1 185-pounds. He pitches out of the wind-up with an overhand slot and flashes good angle when down in the zone. Valleroy has life to his body and shows good rhythm on the mound. His fastball touches 88 and pitches in the 84-86 range. He throws a true curveball with 12-6 type action when he hits on it. It has the shape and bite to function as early get me over, and late in counts can be used as harder in and out of zone pitch that he will bury. Athletic kid with arm strength that has a chance to add velocity over the next year.
