The feel to hit for Mendez is very real as he continues to show up repeatedly at the plate. With more of the same showing up in a massive region rivalry. The smooth swinging LHH would come up with a pair of barrels against two high-caliber arms. Mendez holds strong bat-to-ball skills backed by present hand and bat speed with a strong feel to manipulate the barrel in-zone to deliver consistent hard contact. The approach at the plate stands out with an advanced understanding of the zone within an all-fields approach.
