Uncommitted. Sanders was a guy from North Hall that stood out right away last season. He is athletic, energetic and a defensive machine in the infield. He had a couple double saving plays down the line to his backhand over at 3rd. He can make tough throws with ease with his sneaky arm strength. He had 2 hits on the night in the 2 hole for the Trojans. He is going to produce quality at bats, move runners when needed, and get on base for the middle of the order to drive him in. One of the most impressive things of the night was him stealing 3rd base with no outs after leading off the inning with a double, down 1 run. He would later come in to score to tie the game.
2/28/23
5-foot-9 160-pounds. Fresh off the hard woods from basketball season, Sanders impressed with his athleticism that showed throughout his game. He is on of the those players that just knows how to play the game, and can make a team better with his energy. He can stick anywhere on the infield, and can play a huge role at the top or bottom of the line up. He did a great job flipping the line up over for North Hall. He showed the ability to bunt, where he just missed a bunt for a hit. He has an athletic arm that can throw it from all angles. On the mound he way up to 82, and got better as he went. Some balls found holes that were softly hit, and his defensive made a couple costly mistakes behind him. He kept his composure and battled until the end. The Sanders/Read combo in the infield is one to keep an eye on for some dynamitic plays all season long.
