5-foot-10, 140-pound left-handed pitcher, frame projects to add strength and see continued vertical growth. Arm action is clean on the back-side to a high ¾ slot, loose wrist action. Sound tall and fall delivery, keeps direction towards home, lands square, finishes walking down the mound. Fastball sat 77-79, played mostly straight. Showed good feel for both off-speed pitches. Curveball, 1/7 shape, slurve-like, some bite to it, 66-67. Changeup, controlled zone with, maintains arm speed, fade action, 70-72.
The crafty lefty had a couple strong innings in relief. Has a really smooth and easy delivery. Looks effortless with good mechanics. FB was 77-79 with a 12-6 CB at 66-67. Also flashed a really good CH with downward action at 70-71. Started to lose control some towards the end of his outing, but was able to work out of it. He showed the ability to throw 3 pitches for strikes. He has a strong foundation to build off of.
