Dallas Baptist recruit. Had an impressive outing for the Greyhounds, going 4 IP, 5 H, striking out 6, walking 0, and giving up 1 ER. Clean, quick arm from a ¾ slot. Showed well with secondary pitches, ones that Robertson has immensely improved on since the last time we saw him. FB sat 83-86 with ASR, CB had 12/6 shap at 72-74 and was located well. Changeup was the tone-setter with deceptive sink at 75-77. The most impressive part of Robertson was the ability to repeat delivery, and locate all pitches low-in-zone.

5-foot-10, 150 pounds. Though small in stature Robertson is quite the athlete. He moves very well in the outfield and swings LH as well. He factored on the mound today as well, it’s hard not to imagine the Dallas Baptist Commit not being able to make an impact on the mound at DBU. The arm is quick and works, there could be more in the tank depending on how the frame fills out and strength is adding. In his relief appearance today he was 84-85 with good life to the fastball that had natural arm side run to the 4 seam fastball. Due to his outing being a shorter outing he was fastball only but did flash a CH and SL during warm-ups.
