2/14/20

6-foot 170-pounds. Jensen was a standout all fall, at the plate and on the mound. He is a competitor in all aspects of the game. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Gets good action on the FB at 78-82. Attacks the zone, and has the ability to pitch in well. Kid could pitch everyday it seems like. Stays on line, and stays in his back-side. SL is frisbee like 67-68. Gets swing and misses, especially on RHH’s.

11/09/19

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder, thick, strong frame, will continue to add size to frame as he matures. Offensively, takes an open setup with his hands starting high by his ear, keeps hands high and wraps barrel on load, strides long to a balanced position. Barrel works uphill as he looks to elevate the ball, did his damage on low pitches where he got extension through the zone, 90 exit velocity off a tee. In the field, worked out on the left-side of the infield in addition to first base. Arm works with some looseness from a slot that varies between low 3/4 and side arm. Uses his big frame to keep the ball in front of him, solid glove-hand, moves well around the bag, good feel for first base, 79 across the infield. Ran an 8.26 laser-timed 60.

9/27/19

6-foot, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, stocky build. Arm works long with some quickness to a mostly sidearm slot, repeats well. Drop and drive delivery, gets rotational, lands square, spins off aggressively towards first base. Fastball ranged 77-82 with armside run and sink. Curveball showed sweeping action at 65, also had feel for a changeup with depth and fade.

9/10/19

6-foot, 170 pounds. One of the strongest at the plate of the weekend. He can hit with power to all parts of the field. The Sox had a strong top half of the order, and he produced most of the runs. He holds it down on both corners. Bat stands ahead of defense. Stays back on the ball, and uses his lower half to produce power. Gets it down on the mound as well. FB 78-80. Pounded the strike zone, and forced contact. Smooth ¾ arm slot, and can go the distance.
