Grubbs has come into his own these past couple of weeks and has set the tone at the bottom of the order as he has done a great job to consistently flip the lineup over. Athletic and broad-chested 6-foot-0, 175-pounds with present feel to hit and projection throughout the profile. Picked up hits at a rapid rate in each of our looks this season including a pair of singles against a potent arm talent on Tuesday. Smoked an 88 MPH fastball at the bottom of the zone back into centerfield to kick start the offense. Came through again in his next at-bat as he stayed back on a curveball and laced it into left centerfield for another knock. Leg-kick load and gets the front foot down to consistently stay on-time with fluid hands while being able to adjust in-zone as well. Creates excellent separation and direct path to the ball while working short-to-long. Excellent bat-to-ball skills stand out with barrel feel catching up in a hurry. Innate pitch recognition and feel for the zone with ability to use the whole field well. Offers a strong glove in the corner outfield spot as well with good range and instincts while being able to deliver accurate throws across the field. The former Junior Future games alum has been on a tear at the plate as he has been a huge addition for the Dragons while bringing high-level competitiveness and energy to the diamond on a nightly basis.
