Uncommitted. Resutek impacted the series in multiple ways and was a key piece in helping his team advance to the Elite 8. He got the start in Game 1 and was dominant, tossing a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts and no free passes. A quick mover down the mound from a ¾ arm slot, he shows the ability to create movement on all of his offerings. The fastball sat 84–86 but played more like a sinker with heavy arm-side run and depth. The cutter was especially deceptive off the sinker, showing tight east-to-west movement and consistently missing barrels. He also flashed a changeup with fade away from left-handed hitters that proved effective when used. At the plate, he put together competitive at-bats and showed a disciplined approach, taking walks when given the opportunity. He utilizes a leg kick with good balance in the lower half and shows the ability to recognize spin. He looks to do damage early in the count and doesn’t get cheated in the box. He hammered a ball off the center field wall in Game 2 for a stand-up double. Expect Resutek to continue to be a major factor in Oconee’s playoff push as a reliable two-way presence.

Uncommitted. Resutek had a good night in the field and at the plate for Oconee. He barreled the first pitch he saw of the night off the center-field wall. He shows a good feel for the strike zone with a solid hit tool and the ability to drive the ball to all fields with power. He uses a leg kick and really gets into his lower half during the swing, creating leverage through contact. There is real strength in the frame, and the ball comes off his barrel with authority. At shortstop, he has a big frame with a really good arm and solid range for his size. More experience in the field and continued reps at the plate will be big for his development. As the game continues to slow down for him, the overall consistency should keep trending upward.

Uncommitted. Back in the Spring Resutek impressed with each look. Fast forward to one of the first looks since the spring and Resutek would continue to look the part. As he lived on the barrel as a big middle of the order bat with AquaSox across the Prep Baseball Cup. The ability to handle velocity and spin stands out with an impressive hit/power combo for the Oconee County 1B. Resutek stays compact in a fluid LH stroke with fast hands through the zone and present feel for the barrel. Transfers weight well through impact with ability to spray the ball to all-fields. There is plenty more to project upon physically and throughout the profile for Resutek at a lean 6-foot-2, 175-pounds.
