Uncommitted. The right-hander competed and filled up the zone on Friday night, going 7.2 IP with 9 K’s and 3 BB. FB was 87–89 and touched 90, maintaining velocity throughout the outing. Showed good command of the FB and liked to get in on the hands of hitters with arm-side run.The SL was 76–79 with sharp bite, with the ability to throw it for strikes and get chases. The CH kept the same arm motion and tunneled well off the FB. A good mover on the mound who fields his position well. At the plate, he put together quality ABs. Simple actions with the ability to hit gap to gap with power. Competitor on the mound who attacks hitters and works quickly. Should be at the top of this rotation for Coffee.
