On mound; tall lean athletic frame, has tempo to delivery, short stride, upright at release, lands open to plate, ball runs back into RHH. Fastball was 81-83 mph with flat running action to arm-side of plate. Breaking ball is thrown with good hand speed, 74-75 mph, with solid/avg. 11/5 shape. Balanced stance, arm bar in load, simple swing, spray contact, gap to gap approach, 4.4 home-to-first time. 89 mph exit velocity. Sure hands, solid athlete at position, comfortable around bag, receives throws well at bag, 75 mph arm across field.

10/30/16- 6-foot-6, 180-pound right-handed pitcher topped out at 79 mph. Tall lanky kid, hard stab down on backside, okay finish out front. Head jerk with avg. command, run and sink on 77-79 mph fastball, misses arm-side consistently. 69-72 mph slider has depth, works arm-side away surprisingly well, 11/5 shape. Change up- upright on release, slight run, avg. fade, mostly elevated in zone.
