Thin, highly projectable 6-foot-3, 150-pound right-handed pitcher with long limbs and plenty of room for continued physical development. Loose, easy arm action from high-3/4 slot; works downhill well. Fastball ranged between 80-83, topping at 84 in his start vs. Virginia Stars. Slurve ranged between 69-72 with varying shape, inconsistent strikes with pitch. Also flashed 75 mph changeup occasionally. Competed well on mound for freshman; should continue to add velocity as he physically develops and grows into his frame. High-follow prospect.

Summer 2020:Ranked as the No. 188 prepfor the 2019 draft, Cook red-shirted as a freshman this spring for the Wildcats. He also showed good arm speed on a low-spin (1500-1660 rpm) change-of-pace at 83-84 mph. His upper-70s curve had loose spin and below average bite.
