Shoved in game one of the series, a 2-1 SIU-E victory. He pitched north/south, mixing a 89-92 four-seamer up in the zone with a 75-76 quick-spin (3000+ rpm) downer curveball to the bottom. Bockenstedt struck out nine over his eight innings pitched.

Paired a high spin cutter (2575-2865 rpm) at 84-85 mph with a lower spin (1970-2150) fastball at 88-89 mph.

High leg kick delivery with athleticism and body control. Low stab on back side of arm action. Pitches up and over front side producing steep downhill plane on fastball. Fastball was 84-88, touching 89 mph, with predominantly run action in bottom of zone. Breaking ball has tight spin, thrown with conviction, with solid 11/5 shape. Changeup has above avg. sink and run for strikes.

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Athletic delivery on mound with body control, slight tuck and turn with high leg kick, and has direction to plate. Arm is free and loose. Throws fastball downhill at 81-84 mph. Solid rotation and shape on curveball at 72-74 mph. Changeup is thrown at fastball arm speed at 71-73 mph. 7.21 runner. Spread stance, front heel turn trigger, rotational bat path, short to contact, good hand-eye coordination, mid/pull approach with ability to use whole field, consistent solid line drive and ground ball contact, 83 mph exit velocity. Good footwork in field, ok actions, soft glove, quick release, accurate to bag, long arm action, 83 mph arm across infield.

5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Good presence and tempo on mound. Lands closed with good direction to plate. Arm is clean and quick out front. Fastball flashes late life and works bottom of zone well at 77-81 mph. Breaking ball has solid shape; tends to slow arm on release. 65-69 mph. Throws changeup near fastball arm speed with quality sink at 71-73 mph. 7.38 runner. Open stance to start. Strides in-line to pitcher. Shows quick hands. Loses barrel below hands. Uses whole field. Needs increased strength. 76 mph exit velocity. Shows good hands and feet. Funnels baseball up to body. Range is good. Throws have above average carry and velocity. 83 mph across infield.

5-foot-11, 155-pound 2-way player. No stride approach with front heel turn trigger. Some looseness in swing and uses hands to hit. Average pop in bat with gap to gap approach. 74 mph exit velocity off tee. Ok actions in outfield with long loose arm action. Uses momentum to throw. Throws are on-line and have carry at 81 mph. Mid ¾ slot on mound. Fastball has late life with arm-side fade at 74-77 mph. Slider shows loose spin and varying 10/4-11/5 shape. Showed flashes of tighter spin and depth. Slider was 67-69 mph. Throws an above average changeup with late arm-side sink and action at 67-69 mph.
