Committed to Mississippi State out of Iowa Western (IA).

5/3/16- Iowa Western CC commit. 6-foot-4, 205-pound right handed pitcher. Arm action has a shorter draw. Throws a heavy fastball tough to elevate, produced weak/late contact into the ground. Fastball topped at 91 mph, sat 86-89 mph. Average curveball plays with rolling action, 11/5 plane, 74 mph.
Winn has continued to develop over the course of spring 2015 and into the summer. Projectable arm and body. Has begun to push his velocity into the 90 mph range consistently.
Preseason All-State 3/15/15
6-foot-4, 205-pound right-handed pitcher with long legs and room to add strength. Sound delivery. Lands closed across body at times. Will rush out of balance point. Arm is clean and fast out of OT slot. Shows downhill plane on fastball that was 84-86 mph with good life. Breaking ball was avg/ok with 12/6 shape at 68-71 mph. Heavy sink on changeup with above average command to arm side of plate. Very projectable right-handed pitcher that will continue to develop physically and will add velocity. High Follow for 2016 class.

2018 NJCAA WS: Another of the big, physical pitchers for the Reivers. Closer to physical maturity than his teammate Chandler, but still room to add size and strength to his large frame. Used primarily in a back of the bullpen role this season, and seems suited for it mentally. Aggressive, fills the strike zone with all his pitches. FB 92-94, loose arm, solid delivery, room for improved velo. Throws a true SL 85-88, hard, late break at the plate. A true K pitch. Shows a CH in warm ups, but didn't use it in the game. Circle type, with good arm action and dip at the plate. Should be a weapon against better hitters. Like his teammate, easy to see his named called in the top 5 rounds of the MLB draft.
