Josh Borgman: RHP/3B, (2025) Batesville, IN. 5-foot-8, 195-pound. Smooth capable on the mound, using a short compact arm action he showed consistent good arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed consistent balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with upright balanced finish. Had control around the zone and slight running action with tight movement. (Max spin 1598; Avg 1475). He showed control around the zone and sweeping action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1950; Avg 1902). Throws a heavy changeup with plus action and around the zone command.
Josh Borgman: RHP/3B, (2025) Batesville High School, IN. 5-foot-8, 195-pound. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 79 mph. (57.8 mph bat speed average). (19.9 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then used a short controlled stride. Has developing bat speed, short simple swing plane and a front foot finish. Pull side up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph; had a natural exchange, in control smooth footwork, and sure hands. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a very quick loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-75 mph. Shows running action. (Max spin 1865; Avg 1809). His curveball (57-60) has early gradual action. (Max spin 1760; Avg 1732). His changeup (63-66) shows sinking action.
