Physically strong 6-foot, 205-pound RHH. Starts open and gets square with a short/controlled stride, loose hands produce some barrel whip through the zone, god rounf of BP with consistent line drive contact and gap to gap approach, went 1-for-2 in game play with a single. Solid defender behind the plate, arm strength has improved with same quick transfer, strong accurate throws to the bag. Very solid all-around player.

5-foot-11, 200-pound, RHH hits from a spread stance with no stride, quiet and simple approach with loose hands that create some barrel whip through the zone, short swing that produces line drive contact and occasional gap power, excellent balance throughout swing. Solid catch and throw ability with online footwork that produces accurate throws to the bag, average arm strength is helped by a fairly quick transfer and release. Mason is a very solid overall player with good offensive and defensive ability.
