5-foot-9, 140-pound RHH starts open and squares up with a controlled short stride, pre-pitch bat waggle into a slight hand load, repeats line drive swing plane well, average bat speed, went 1-for-4 in game play. Average hands and feet defensively, accurate throws with developing arm strength from a high-3/4 release, has plenty of room to grow and add physical strength.

5-foot-9, 140-pound RHP uses long and loose arm action and works through a high-3/4 slot with minimal effort, good direction to the plate with lower half, fastball is straight and works to both sides of the plate, slow curveball varied between gradual 11/5 and 12/6 shape, gets under curveball at times leaving it up in the zone. Murdach worked a quick inning allowing one walk and no hits with a ground ball double play eliminating the base runner.
