6/17/15 - 6-foot-3, 210-pound RHP with strong frame, quick arm that works through a ¾ to high-3/4 slot, fastball sat 86-88 mph with hard arm-side run and sink, throws a hard slider with late biting action at 78-80 mph, showed confidence in his 81 mph changeup, allowed an infield single, walked none and struck out two (one on a FB and one swinging on SL) in his one inning of work, continues to prove to be one of the top uncommitted arms in Kentucky’s 2016 class. As a position player - right-handed hitter with strength in swing, hits from an open stance, long stride, explodes with lower half and showed power to all fields in BP, ball jumps off bat with some lift, ran 4.60 down the line, 88 mph exit velocity, went 0-for-3 in game play. Athletic first baseman, moves well around the bag with athletic footwork, good arm strength at 83 mph across the infield.
2/14/15 - 6-foot-3, 205-pound RHP with strong frame that projects well at the next level, continues to show an increase in velocity, arm is quick and works through a high-3/4 slot, up tempo delivery with a tendency to rush occasionally, fastball sat 86-88 mph and touched 91 mph on last fastball of the day, fastball shows good arm-side run and late sink through the zone, throws a power-type curveball at 73-76 mph with sharp 11/5 action, changeup is solid and thrown with good arm action at 77-80 mph with good sinking action, also throws a hard slider at 79-80 mph with some bite that has potential to be a very good pitch at the next level, high-level Class of 2016 pitcher who continues to make velocity gains. As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from a balanced stance, short stride, aggressive approach at the plate, swing generates some lift, good bat speed and shows power potential, shorter swing with good extension through contact, showed his ability to generate bat speed with 92 mph exit velocity, ran 7.64 60-yard dash. Defensively, athletic first baseman, moves well with good footwork, good arm strength at 84 mph across the infield, good combination of size and athleticism.
10/19/14 - 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect with strong and athletic frame, arm is quick, up tempo delivery, works through a ¾ slot that produces hard arm-side run and late sink on his 84-86 mph that topped at 87, throws a 76-78 mph slider with late bite, changeup is thrown with good arm action at 79-80 mph and has good arm-side run and sink, throws strikes consistently with all pitches, worked two perfect innings with two strikeouts, sinking fastball produced four ground ball outs, has shown recent velocity gains with the potential for more, high-level prospect on the mound. As a position player, right-handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance, short stride, wraps some in load, explodes with lower half,  uphill bat path with high one hand finish, showed some power to all fields, ball jumps off bat, ran 7.68 60-yard dash, 85 mph tee exit velocity, went 1-for-4 in game play with a single to left-center.  Defensively, shows the ability to play both corner spots, good footwork, tends to field the ball at third base with throwing hand away from glove hand, has a quick release with 84 mph arm across the infield, accurate throws to first base.
6/17/14 - 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect with strong/athletic frame and room to fill in, shows good feet around the first base bag with playable hands, starts the double play well, 79 mph arm across the infield.  At the plate, hits from a balanced setup, loads up on back side, wraps some in load with long/uphill swing path, creates some lift and shows some pull side power, showed his ability to generate bat speed with 90 mph exit velocity off the tee, ran 4.82 down the first base line, went 2-for-4 with a double in game play with a pull approach, prospect to follow in 2016 class.  On the mound, arm is loose and works well, uses long arm action through a ¾ arm slot that produces some arm-side run and good sink to his fastball, fastball sat 82-83 mph, showed a 76-77 mph slider with short and late break, good command of both pitches and works both sides of the plate, allowed one hit and recorded four ground ball outs in the five hitters he faced in game action, more velocity likely to come, potential high-level prospect on the mound.
