Body: 6-foot, 160-pound long projectable frame.
Pitching: Advanced. Tall-and-fall delivery, easy effort. ¾ arm angle, lightning arm speed, very quick arm action. Athletic balance point.
FB: T86. 84-86 mph. (Max spin 2298; Avg 2195). In the zone accuracy, running action, heavy movement.
CB: 68-70 mph. Some command, swing and miss action, 12/6 shape. (Max spin 2123; Avg 2071).
CH: 74-76 mph. Decent control, running action.
SL: 73-74 mph. In the zone control, plus action, sharp movement. (Max spin 2086; Avg 2068).
6-foot, 160-pound righty, has a lean, athletic frame with projection. He was one of the top arms at this fall's Kentucky/Tennessee Border Battle, racking up five strikeouts in two scoreless innings. Saatman uses a loose, whippy arm action through a high-3/4 slot to produce an 83-86 mph fastball that he works to both sides of the plate. He shows feel for spin with a 70-73 mph curveball with late break that he routinely lands for strikes. He also flashes an above average changeup at 73-76. thrown with good arm action that plays well off the fastball. Saatman has gained significant velocity over the last year, and should continue to add more moving forward. He shows excellent pitchability already.

One of the top arms at the Underclass Games event. 2023 RHP uses loose/whippy arm action through a high-3/4 slot to produce an 81-83 mph fastball he works to both sides of the plate. Shows feel for spin with a 68-70 mph curveball with late break. Routinely lands the curveball for strikes. Flashed an above average changeup at 71 mph thrown with good arm action that plays well off the fastball. Saatman has gained significant velocity over the last year, and should continue to add moving forward. Has excellent pitchability already and will be a 2023 arm to watch very closely.
