6'1" 175 lbs. frame. Burg was one of our favorites from our 2022 State Games event and he looks noticeably stronger from the last time that we saw him. The Tulane recruit uses a toe-tap load at the plate before using quick hands to deliver a flat path to contact with level extension. It's a really simple and repeatable swing, so it's no surprise that he last year as a sophomore and is one of the key pieces of the Raiders offense again this spring.

Positional Profile: OF/RHP Recent Tulane commit
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds. Wiry and athletic
Hits: RHH. Starts in a wider, squared off, and balanced stance with hands held close to his right ear, uses a knee to knee load and stride. Stays short to contact with a direct path to the ball, comes out of his lower-half at times, slightly uphill finish, stayed gap to gap during his BP round and created consistent hard contact. Also collected a double to the pull-side during gameplay.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 76.5 MPH. 255' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-86 mph. Short and quick arm action, releases from a high 3/4 slot
Defense: Attacked the ball aggressively, but under control, plays through the ball with athletic footowork.
Run: 7.10 runner in the 60.
