Stocky 5'9" 185 lbs. frame with a strong and physical lower-half. It had been a while since we had seen the former Jr. Future Gamer, who was one of the standout hitters on that team, and he hit the ball well again last week against Destrehan. Browning went 3-4 on the day with a 2B and two firm singles, to finish the day with 3 QAB's. He works from an upright stance with a higher hand-set and uses a leg kick load and stride, and maintains a tight/compact turn to contact with his hands works on top and through the baseballl with level extension. Defenisvely, he showed to be an adequate receiver and blocker with an average arm, and pop times of 2.00-2.12 in between innings. Browning ended up throwing out two baserunners, one at second base and another on a blocked ball in the dirt to throw out a runner at third base.
