The uncommitted junior has started to pick up some steam at the plate for the Eagles, over the last week or so, and performed well last Saturday night against Dutchtown. In his first at-bat, he stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and two outs, and hit a line drive that the centerfielder made a really nice diving play on, that would've cleared the bases had it dropped in. Landry would later drive a backside double to finish the game 1-4 with the 2B and a RBI. He's also shown improvements defensively, and overall looked more confident and comfortable on Saturday night for Parkview Baptist, which is good news for the Eagles.
