Athletic 5’11” 180 lbs. frame with present strength in the lower half. LHH begins in an open, tall stance with his hands held at shoulder height, using a leg-kick to get back to center. Aggressive swings during BP round. Stayed behind the ball well with natural lift in the swing that produced a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Athletic actions at 1B, catching the ball out front. Long, loose arm action, releasing the ball from a ¾ arm slot. Showed ability to change arm angles on different plays. Positional velocity of 74 mph. Posted a 7.47 in the 60.
Peyton Woods: 3B, (2023) Albany, LA. Projectable frame. At the plate, the hitter's best exit velocity was 84 mph. Started in an open tall stance and had a quick load. Shows quick bat speed, a flat swing plane and extension on his finish. Pull side approach. In the infield, showed ability to throw up to 74 mph across the field; has soft hands and smooth footwork. Movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. He recorded a 60 time of 7.63 at the event. On the mound, he has an over-the-top angle and a short arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. His fastball came in at 75-76 mph. Knuckleball shows movement at 66-67 mph. Showed in the zone control on his 12/6 curveball (66-67).
