Positional Profile: LHP. Starter profile.
Delivery: Starts on the right side of rubber and stays there. Athletic and uptempo delivery. Brings the ball down out of the glove with a long arm circle, releasing the ball from a high ¾ arm slot. Shoulders and hips finish square to home plate.
Arm Action: High ¾ arm slot. Long and whippy arm action with minimal effort.
FB: 80-84 mph with some arm side run. Avg. spin of 1873 RPM, Max spin of 2028 RPM
CB: “1-7” in shape with average spin and depth at 69-72 mph
SL: Still developing at 69-72 mph
CH: Firm with arm side run at 75-79 mph
Long, projectable 6-foot-1, 165-pound frame. Athletic left-hander that's easy to like. Works from the third base side of the rubber, staying on-line with an athletic delivery. Medium arm action, continuous arm circle into a high-3/4 slot with looseness and quick arm speed. Hides the baseball well during takeaway making it tough to pick up until release. Mostly sat 82-85 mph while touching 86 on multiple occasions. Fastball plays up, seems to get on hitters. Mixes well with a 70-72 mph breaking ball and a 71-74 mph changeup. Both show promise with advanced feel. Breaking ball spins right with shape and depth. Change has deception from a consistent slot while maintaining arm speed. Worked 3 innings in a dominant outing. Will be a fast riser in the 2023 class.
