Body: 5-11, 185-pounds. Physical, athletic, strong lower-half
Hits: LHH. Starts in an open, upright, and balanced stance with hands held at shoulder height, uses a toe-tap load and stride. Tight turn to contact creates a short path to the ball with slightly uphill extension, had one of the best BP rounds on the day, worked gap to gap and had a lot of barrels, present power to the pull-side gap. Took 3 QAB's during gameplay with two hits.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 89.2 MPH. 360' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-81 mph. Short and quick, releases from a 3/4 slot
Defense: 1.87-2.00 pop times. Very vocal behind the plate, received the ball extremely well and blocked the ball even better. Quick transfer with athletic footwork on throw downs to the bag.
Run: 6.71 runner in the 60.
10/28/18 Lean 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame, athletic build with room to add strength. Defensively worked with soft hands, fluid footwork, and clean exchanges. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with accuracy on throws that produced a positional velocity of 72 mph and a pop time of 2.18-2.26 seconds. Left-handed hitter that hits from tall, athletic setup, with controlled leg lift load, short stride, and solid lower half. Fluid rhythm with uphill path and bat speed that produced an exit velocity of 75 mph. Also posted a 7.59 60-yard dash.
