2.9.19- ProCase 6-foot-5, 230-pound right-handed hitting catcher. He is bouncing back from a major injury. Ran a 7.28 sixty at the event. The receiving behind the dish is solid, the flexibility is good for his size. The footwork during the transfer can be quickened, threw 79 mph down the second base during the defensive portion of the workout. The pop time is 2.06. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 87 mph. The setup is even in base, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball enters the hitting zone. The path is in and out of the hitting zone quickly, needs to be flattened for coverage. The swing is cleaner and more fluid than last year, he is trending up.

6-foot-5, 230-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Big and physical player, threw 80 mph down to second base during the workout. The slot is ¾ and looks like its too low at times. The throws are accurate and quick though. Pop time of 1.96. The receiving is solid, as he works with a soft hand. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 99 mph. Hits out of a wide base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The back elbow is high to start and the path will need to be flattened as he see better pitching. Ran a 7.29 sixty at the event. Big time prospect for me. Tons of potential.
Tee Exit Velocity- 99 mph

Catcher's Velocity- 80 mph
6.27.2017
6-foot-5, 230-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Pop time of 1.98, as the feet and release are very advanced for his age. Threw 80 mph from behind the dish. The receiving is solid as he secures the catch appropriately and shows the ability to block and recover. The bat has serious life in it. Tee exit velocity of 97 mph. The set is even with his feet and he stays in his legs during the swing. There is length to the path, however, he is big physically so that is standard. The bat speed is excellent and he hammers the ball at contact. Big time player based off what I saw. Tee Exit Velocity- 97 mph Catching Velocity- 80 mph Pop Time- 1.98
