6-foot-3, 190-pound, strong, wide athletic frame, showing strength throughout. A left-handed pitcher, has quick and powerful arm, fastball reached 87 mph at this event. The delivery has timing, hands work up with leg raise, with coil at its peak. Loaded on the backside, staying tall, frontside is strong and lands inline to late. The finish is out front, with backside coming through. The arm action is short and loose on the backside, working with minimal effort., coming through from a 3/4 slot. The breaking ball has velocity to it, clocked at 71 mph, with depth, thrown for strikes. Showed feel for a true changeup, clocked at 75 mph, a plus pitch. Chance to be a big arm in the class of 2021.
The 6-foot-3, 180 pound left-handed pitcher has a chance to be very good. The arm is loose and his frame has the potential to add strength. His delivery is simple and controlled, using the modified stretch to stay in line and balanced. The fastball had late sinking action out of his over the top arm slot and sat 81-83 mph. The change up is a plus pitch at 70 mph. The arm speed is good with sinking action. The breaking ball was 63-67 mph and early on he was slowing his arm on the pitch. In his 2nd and 3rd innings he increased the arm speed on the pitch and the velocity and break were better. It could turn into a good 3rd pitch.I think this is a talented left-hander. The arm is loose, his change up is plus and I think he will continue to gain velocity with added strength.
6-foot-1, 160-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. Impressive young player. On the mound, the future is bright. The fastball touched 80 mph. The breaking pitch is correct in shape, sat at 67 mph. The changeup is solid, sat at 71 mph. The delivery is online, does a nice job tracking hsi front shoulder. The slot is set at ¾. The post foot is on top of the rubber, needs to be posted flatly in front of the rubber. The stuff is trending up, look for this dude to make a serious jump this summer. Defensively, solid around the bat at first. Threw 71 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Sets up with his feet wide, hands set high to start. The bottom half has a substantial knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half. The path is flat to the ball and the hands have good life to them. The bat is a follow as well. Big follow
