Power / Speed Score

2017 FUTURE GAMES 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. The frame projects well and the movements are athletic. Ran a 7.14 sixty at the event, more foot speed to come as he matures. The defense is solid in the outfield, played on the corner more than he is used to but was fine. More than likely a corner outfielder at the college level unless the foot speed increases dramatically. Gets off the ball and runs appropriate routes. Threw 78 mph from the outfield with accuracy. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The set up is wide with his feet, slightly open with the front foot. As the ball approaches he closes the front foot down. Uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half to get set up. The path is uphill but the hands work freely and clean. Would like to see him get the barrel above the hands more often. Solid athleticsm and a solid prospect.
