6/11/19

5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed pitcher. The delivery is online and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The tempo is deliberate. The arm is quick, small amount of pull with the glove side. The command of the ball is excellent, as he pounded the zone. The fastball touched 80 mph, minimal arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is small in shape, 70 mph. The changeup showed fade and action to it, sitting at 73 mph. Trending up as he continues to improve.

8/2/2017

5-foot-8, 145 -pound right-handed pitcher who had a solid outing at the event. The fastball sat 77-79 mph, arm side run and he is a strike thrower. The spin pitch is 65-67 mph, still needs top happen out front more but the shape is trending the appropriate way. The changeup has the right fade and sink to it. The delivery is online with his feet, and he stays closed on the top half almost to foot strike. The glove comes across the hitters face, adding to deception. The arm is quick and the ball moves all over. Interesting follow.

3/12/17

6-foot-1, 179-pound, average athletic frame, arms are long, has plenty of room to fill out and add weight on. A right-handed hitter, has a simple balanced approach. The stance is even, feet are shoulder width apart, hands are loose starting at shoulder height. The lower half is under control for timing, stride is straight, gains ground and hands stay back. The swing path is level across the chest, approach is more to pull side, rolls hands early at times, needs to stay though it longer. Defensively, worked out in the outfield, prep steps were good, could attack the baseball more aggressively. The arm action is long and clean on the back side, arm works out of a ¾ to low ¾ slot, clocked at 77 mph. Off the mound, a right-handed pitcher, the delivery is repeatable. The hands start and stay at the chest, easy controlled leg raise, direction is inline and squares up to the plate on release. The arm action has a longer path, ball comes out of a low ¾ slot, fastball was located down in the zone to both sides, clocked at 75-77 mph. The change had fade and proper spin to arm side, clocked at 68 mph, sold it well with good arm speed. The breaking ball was clocked at 64-65 mph, gets sidespin at times, needs to stay behind it. The lower half wants to slow down at release, let the backside come through. Good looking young arm, like the ability to throw from a lower slot.

Forty-Yard Dash: 5.22
Exit Velocity: 77 mph

Arm Velocity: 77 mph
