The stance is even, feet are shoulder width apart, hands are loose starting at shoulder height. The lower half is under control for timing, stride is straight, gains ground and hands stay back. The swing path is level across the chest, approach is more to pull side, rolls hands early at times, needs to stay though it longer. Defensively, worked out in the outfield, prep steps were good, could attack the baseball more aggressively. The arm action is long and clean on the back side, arm works out of a ¾ to low ¾ slot, clocked at 77 mph. Off the mound, a right-handed pitcher, the delivery is repeatable. The hands start and stay at the chest, easy controlled leg raise, direction is inline and squares up to the plate on release. The arm action has a longer path, ball comes out of a low ¾ slot, fastball was located down in the zone to both sides, clocked at 75-77 mph. The change had fade and proper spin to arm side, clocked at 68 mph, sold it well with good arm speed. The breaking ball was clocked at 64-65 mph, gets sidespin at times, needs to stay behind it. The lower half wants to slow down at release, let the backside come through. Good looking young arm, like the ability to throw from a lower slot.
