The receiving needs time on a pitching machine so he can work on securing the catch. The frame projects so the work put in will be the tell all. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 75 mph. Sets up with his feet under control, and then has a great deal of effort in the swing. The approach is pull as he pulls the front side off the ball as he gets into contact. The hands are very quick, but they need to get timed up with his feet and stay in the middle of the field.
