5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and pitcher. Ran a 7.65 sixty on the laser at the event. The glove and footwork at first base is solid, shows a feel around the bag. Threw 71 mph across the diamond out of a short arm path. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 74 mph. The setup is wide in base, uses a knee to knee approach on the bottom half. The swing is out and around to contact. On the mound, the fastball sat 72-73 mph, minimal arm side run. The spin pitch is big in shape, sits 57-58 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The direction comes offline on the top half. The glove has minimal pull to it. The arm is short on the back half.

7/18/18

5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed hitting first baseman. The glove and feet work around the bag, he moves cautiously around the base. Threw 69 mph across the diamond out of a long arm swing. Ran a 5.06 down the line on his dig to first base at the workout. The swing has a tee exit velocity of 73 mph. The setup is wide in base, leaks to the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. Uses a knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half. The hands are clean and the path is flat to the ball. Needs to get physically stronger and continue to develop. The bat has life to it, just needs to work hard on the weights and get his body in shape.
