8/8/18
5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed pitcher, tremendous improvement in the last year.  The fastball touched 80 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is 67-70 mph, showed an improved shape and feel to the pitch. The changeup is 73-74 minimal fade and action to it. The delivery has crossfire to the fee, ¾ slot. The deception of the feet and slot make it tough on the hitter. The lift is athletic, small coil at the top and he does a solid job of tracking until the stride foot lands. The glove side if soft and he stays with his arm. Cole has made himself into a solid college pitching prospect
3/8/2017

5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed arm from the Noreasters program. Cole has improved a great deal since the last time we saw him. The fastball is 74 mph and has arm side action to it. The spin pitch is 65 mph, still needs more fastball hand speed to it but it is improved. The changeup is a good pitch for him, sitting at 69 mph. Added physical weight and strength will help him develop. The slot is slightly above ¾ and the direction of his feet are done appropriately. The glove is posted and he stays with his arm. Does a good job with his delivery.

8/2016

Second time we have had the chance to see Cole pitch this summer. The fastball has arm-side run to it, sitting at 70-71 mph. The spin pitch is 60-61 and could use more fastball hand speed as he wraps his wrist too soon, slowing down his arm speed. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is methodical, and the arm works out of a ¾ slot. The front knee and hip come open too soon as he drives towards home plate. Needs to stay closed longer to foot strike. The glove side pull can be minimized as the approaches home as well. He competes and goes about his business.

6/29/16

Small and thin framed left-handed pitcher who we have seen twice now. Fastball was 68 mph with left-handed run to it. The breaking ball is 58 mph and needs more fastball hand speed to the pitch. The changeup is 64 mph and showed the correct rotation to it. The delivery has as solid front side and good foot direction to it. The front leg does open to soon prior to foot strike, cleaning that will help immensely. The lift and pace is methodical, hopefully he can loosen up as he ages and let the arm work for him. Pitches out of a ¾ arm slot.

12/13/15
Left-handed pitcher who showed quite nicely at the event. The delivery is clean, well-taught and on time. The arm work at a ¾ angle and he shows a good feel for all three pitches at this point of his life. Fastball sat at 70 mph and had good plane to it. The ball comes out of his hand nicely. The body is still very slight, so as he matures physically he could be a good one. The breaking ball is slurvy at 61 mph. The changeup is a nice pitch for him and advanced for his age, showed fade and backup to it, 66 mph. The delivery itself is clean, does a nice job controlling his front side and stay on-line with his feet. The front shoulder needs to be perpendicular to his target at foot strike. He puts all that together and grows, lookout.
