2/24/2018

5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed pitcher and first baseman. On the mound he is improved significantly. The arm is above ¾ and the delivery is quick in tempo. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be better aligned. The ball comes out good at release, small pause on the back of the arm swing. The fastball has good life to it, sits at 83 mph. Threw two spin pitches, the breaking ball at 72, which was good in shape. The slider was 80 mph, needs a tick more depth to it. The slider has a chance to be special. The changeup is 70-71 with good action to it. Impressive session at the scout day.

6.28.17
5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed pitcher. The fastball touched 80 mph, true to shape. The breaking ball got up to 73 mph, showing and good plane to it. The changeup is a work in progress, sitting 71-73 mph. The delivery in online and the slot is plus ¾. The delivery has a hard pull down on the glove side, causing the slot to raise. Has a good rhythym to his delivery and repeats but there is effort. Competed in the innings he pitched and threw strikes for the majority of the session. His stuff is good for his age, hope his slot holds up with the ever growing work loads. Good follow on the mound.

2.25.2017

5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting, left-hander throwing first baseman and pitcher. On the mound, pitches out of a high ¾ arm slot. The delivery is online with his feet and the arm is clean. The glove has a hard pull down to it, and the head leans as well as he brings the arm through. The fastball touches 76 mph and is true. The breaking ball is sweepy , touching 64 mph. The changeup needs a rotational fix, sits at 69-70 mph. Defensively, the glove at first is excellent and the footwork around the bag is appropriate. Threw 78 mph across the diamond to third base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The swing set up is wide with his feet and the path is simple to the ball. The feet are under control and he stays in the swing. Solid hitting mechanics.

Tee Exit Velocity- 80 mph
INF Velocity- 78 mph
