Magill is a 5-foot-11, 150 pound right-handed hitting infield prospect. He hits out of a wide stance with the hands set high. He uses a knee slide to stack the weight over the back leg and create momentum with his swing. The bat-head works through the hitting zone on a flat plane, showing some pop to the pull side and yielding a max exit velocity of 81 MPH.
Defensively, Magill was 75 MPH on his throws across the infield. The feet were light as he worked to break down into a good fielding position. The hands were soft transitioning through the play and into the throwing position. The feet create a good line, with the hips and shoulders stacked over a bent upper body. The arm-swing is a lower ¾ slot and he drifts a bit to the outfield as he finishes through the play.
