Corey Magill: RHP/OF, (2024) Blackstone Valley Tech, MA. 6-foot, 165-pound athletic lean build. Capable on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a high arm angle and a long arm action. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Has falling off shoulder with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-76 mph; showed running action and control arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2005; Avg 1822). His curveball (64-65) had sweeping action and glove side around the zone command. (Max spin 1602; Avg 1565). Showed arm side command and gradual fading action on his changeup (70-71). 

Magill is a 5-foot-11, 150 pound right-handed hitting infield prospect. He hits out of a wide stance with the hands set high. He uses a knee slide to stack the weight over the back leg and create momentum with his swing. The bat-head works through the hitting zone on a flat plane, showing some pop to the pull side and yielding a max exit velocity of 81 MPH.

Defensively, Magill was 75 MPH on his throws across the infield. The feet were light as he worked to break down into a good fielding position. The hands were soft transitioning through the play and into the throwing position. The feet create a good line, with the hips and shoulders stacked over a bent upper body. The arm-swing is a lower slot and he drifts a bit to the outfield as he finishes through the play.
