During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an impressive exit velocity of 91 MPH, with a (66.8 mph bat speed average) and (21.0 mph hand speed average). He begins in a balanced, wide stance with a controlled load and relaxed hands. A small leg kick starts a swing that takes a simple, flat path through the hitting zone. He showed a quick bat and a gap to gap approach. While in the infield, Fronduto was up to 74 MPH, while demonstrating he has sure hands, consistent, smooth feet, and a clean exchange. On the mound, Fronduto uses a long, over-the-top arm slot that produces a fastball that sits 75-76 MPH (Max spin 2096; Avg 1965), with some arm side run. The delivery is easy, simple and has good direction. He gets to a good position at the top and separates well. He gets in line with home plate and finishes well. Fronduto also featured a 12/6 curveball (62-63 MPH) (Max spin 1425; Avg 1401) and a changeup (60-62 MPH) with late fading action.

The front foot closes down and the path is long and strong to contact. The finish is 1-handed and he gets through the baseball. On the mound, the fastball sat 74-76 mph. The breaking ball was 67-68 mph and the changeup is still developing. The delivery has crossfire to the feet and the slot is above 3/4 height. The lift is repeated, solid in tempo and he moves well for a big kid. The slot needs to remain consistent.
