Eisig Chin: OF, (2023) Franklin, MA. 5-foot-10, 180-pound. Athletic at the plate, Chin's 94 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. (76.9 mph bat speed average). (24.2 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a compact load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was quick, used a simple flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found multiple barrels with loud contact. Line drive approach. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 84 mph; showed a clean exchange, sure hands, and smooth athletic feet. Movements laterally were athletic. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action.
Eisig Chin: OF/LHP, (2023) out of Franklin, MA. is a 5-foot-10, 185-pound outfield prospect. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 92 MPH. Chin hits out of an open, athletic stance with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A smooth load allows the bat to work through the hitting zone on a quick, uphill swing plane. The front foot closes down and he stays in his legs during the swing. The path is flat and simple to contact, good looking swing. He hammered the ball a number of times in game play.
