6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Defensively, showed a solid glove, the prep steps to the ball and through it need to improve. The arm works, but needs added strength, possible fall long toss program would do the trick. Threw 70 mph across the diamond with accuracy. Ran a 5.3 down the line on his dig to first base as that will have to improve as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 78 mph. Hits out of a wide base, high handed start. The bottom half is under control and he uses a 1-handed approach to finish. The path is long, due to strength, should be fine down the road. On the mound, the fastball touched, 67 mph, minimal arm side run to it. The spin pitch is 59 mph, needs to happen out front as he wraps the wrist on the pitch. The changeup is a work in progress, sits at 62 mph. Pitches out of a higher than ¾ slot, long arm swing on the back half. The arm works cleanly and he throws strikes. The lift is methodical and the tracking needs to be cleaned up for better direction to the catcher. Interesting 2021 player.
