Jackson LaValley: RHP/OF, (2025) Westfield, MA. 6-foot, 155-pound. (62.7 mph bat speed average). (19.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a compact load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed was efficient, had a simple flat swing plane and high finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 70 mph; had consistent footwork, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Solid recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph; showed a natural exchange, consistent feet, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed slight running action. (Max spin 2216; Avg 2065). Has gradual action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 2004; Avg 1872).
